NMFC 168940 - Scrap Sound Recording Discs, Plastic, See Note, Item 168942, In Bags, Boxes Or Drums
NOTE-Applies only on: (1) scraps, shavings or pieces of recorded or blank plastic, sound recording discs without metal coating; OR (2) whole, scrap, plastic, sound recording discs without metal coating, recorded or blank, having value only for reclamation of raw materials, actual value not exceeding 16 cents per pound. Shipping containers must be marked by shipper, 'Scrap Recordings' or 'Scrap Recording Blanks,' as the case may be, and shipper must certify on shipping orders and bills of lading at time of shipment that the sound recording discs have value only for reclamation of raw materials and that the actual value per pound does not exceed 16 cents. If the shipper fails to provide such certification, item 168910, naming 'Discs, sound recording, plastic,' will apply.
